All connections between your app, Lighthouse device and Amazon Web Services are encrypted with bank level AES-256, 2048-bit keys and secure HTTP access (HTTPS) using TLS/SSL.

Users login using industry leading SRP-6a/PBKDF2 protocol. This means that your passwords are securely encrypted, and are resistant to attacks by potential hackers.

Your data is your own, period. No one views your footage unless you explicitly give your permission (see our full privacy policy). In addition, you can easily customize settings to disable your camera and microphone at your convenience.

Lighthouse software is tamper-proof from third-parties, with:

• Digitally signed bootloader and updates, so outside parties are unable to load their own software onto your device.
• Key pinning, which allows our software to resist impersonation by outside parties using mis-issued or otherwise fraudulent certificates.

Bluetooth connections are disabled immediately after Wi-Fi configuration is complete, so third-parties are unable to take over your device remotely via Bluetooth.
